Rock & Roll Pizza
It’s not your ordinary food truck. Hailing from Woodland Hills, Rock & Roll Pizza serves up authentic New York-style pizza out of a 1941 fire truck. The classic Ford has built-in pizza ovens and refrigeration for pizza on the go. Beyond pizza, the crew serves up pastas, sandwiches, salads, deserts, and all kinds of Italian specialties.
The owners are former New Yorkers. The idea was a love child born of a conversation between David Vieira and Elliot Easton, guitarist for the rock group The Cars. Rock & Roll Pizza is more than an eye-catching, classic fire truck truck serving great food – it’s also a restaurant in Woodland Hills, CA.
If you’re wondering where they get the name “Rock & Roll,” it goes beyond Easton’s involvement in the business. The restaurant regularly features a whole lineup of bands and live music. The newly redesigned dining room converts to a music venue at 6:00 pm for karaoke, open mike at 9:00 as well as rock and roll bands local and visiting.
Whether you’re in the mood for food or music, be sure to visit Rock & Roll Pizza in Woodland Hills. You can also catch their fire truck at this year’s Watermelon Festival. They’ll be serving up pizza while we serve up the rock & roll.
