There are new and exciting musical acts for this years’ Festival. Friday night’s opening act is the Verdugo Voices Glee Club at 6pm and headliner Viza, an internationally acclaimed band known for their erratically amusing blend of energized international rock, takes the stage at 8:00pm.
On Saturday night local favorite and KROQ darlings, indie rockers, Sad Robot will blaze the stage also at 8:00pm. Highlights for Saturday include a 2:00pm performance by Radio Disney, a rare Southern California appearance by Pop Princess Karissa Lee at 3:00pm, followed by festival favorite Artwork Jamal and his blues band at 4:00pm. The Leela Belly Dance Troupe that has enchanted audiences throughout the Southland, will take the stage at 5:00pm, followed by Warped Tour alumna rockers Miracle Dolls, fronted by twin sisters Dani and Desiree.
On Sunday at 1:00pm kids will be delighted by a special performance by Ronald McDonald, with photo opportunities. At 2:00pm the Power House Blues teen trio, fronted by fourteen year old Chase Walker are sure to light up the festivities. The Bulldawg Blues Band hits the stage at 3:00pm, with their brand of Blues, Rock and a good time, followed by Spanish and Flamenco Dancer Susana Elena, who will delight audiences with her elegance and grace at 4:00pm. Then Fever the Ghost, a sparkling indie punk quartet, performs at 6:00pm. At 7:00pm Landia will be on stage. The veteran pop band, fronted by David Landia, will soon be featured on the Chambers Brothers Reunited Tour. Closing night headliner, at 8:00pm is the Big Daddy T Blues band with the moniker, Electric Blues Served Hot! Also featured on Saturday and Sunday, opening the festivities at noon, is choreographer Jacobi Lynn of Aletheia Dance and Performing Arts.
